The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

A System Integrator in Electric and Electronic Systems (EES) is a professional who specializes in integrating electrical and electronic components and systems specifically for home appliances. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing the electrical and electronic systems that power and control various home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and more.

This position will be part of our Global team, based in Mexico, having focus on refrigeration platforms.

Your role would involve developing and programming control systems and user interfaces for the appliances, enabling users to interact with and operate the appliances with ease. This may include designing intuitive control panels, integrating touch screens or digital displays, and implementing smart features and connectivity options for remote control or integration with smart home systems.

Your responsibilities will include

As a EES System Integrator, your key activities and responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support the project plans and project execution;

  • Responsible for EES subsystem level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails;

  • Lead technical design reviews within EES project team to provide an assessment of whether the project is within the architecture/project/product plan guardrails by working with key development team members;

  • Conducting testing and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve electrical or electronic issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable operation of appliances;

  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency requirements throughout the development process;

  • Creating technical documentation, including system specifications, design guidelines, and test reports, to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team;

  • Represent the EES organization in product level technical design reviews with platform team;

  • Provides local D2D support regarding electrical & electronics issues for manufacturing, quality, other platform subsystems, to ensure production continuity.

  • These activities and responsibilities contribute to the successful integration of electrical and electronic systems in home appliances, resulting in efficient, reliable, and user-friendly products for consumers.

Minimum requirements

Electrical Engineering or Controls and Automation Engineer or another electrical related Degree is a must;

English Fluent level (Listen, Write and Speak in English is mandatory for the position);

Good balance of technical and project management skills;

Good communication skills;

1-3 years project Engineering & Technical Design Experience, hands on experience.

Preferred skills and experiences

Excel in the role of a System Integrator in Electric and Electronic Systems applied in home appliances, the following experience and skills are valuable:

Project Management Certification;

OPEX Knowledge and Experience;

Understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, including circuit design, power systems, digital electronics, hardware, software and sensor technologie;

Problem-solving skills;

Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency requirements applicable to home appliances. Knowledge of certification processes (e.g., UL, IEC) is beneficial;

Collaboration skill to work within a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, designers, and technicians;

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines;

Effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
