The team you will be a part of
The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a SPM Simulation Sr. Analyst Engineer opening to join our Refrigeration Simulation Based Design organization. This position will be located in Apodaca, N.L., Mexico.
Your responsibilities will include
Use 1D tools to predict refrigerator energy consumption and overall thermal performance
Build representative refrigerator 1D models, evaluate designs, validate with physical testing and perform iterations to drive efficient designs for optimal product performance.
Write simulation reports , knowledge documents, A3, and CCDs to capture knowledge and promote future reuse.
Develop new techniques and simulation capabilities to reduce overall simulation and design cycle time.
Work with cross functional, category and global teams to align with simulation capabilities, methods and knowledge sharing.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining a strong communication bridge with design and lab personnel.
Operate as a liaison between PDC engineers and external suppliers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of projects.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)
A minimum of 1 year 1D simulation experience
Experience in Modelica modeling and simulation environments (Dymola, Modelon Impact or similar)
Experience using scripting languages for tasks automation and data analysis (Python is a plus)
Background on Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics
Ability to work with diverse global teams
Must have strong problem solving skills, organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Refrigeration product experience is a plus
