The team you will be a part of

The Digital Marketing team develops marketing, merchandising and creative strategies and affiliated programs to promote the organization's products and services through the Internet or other digital channels to increase exposure to and business from the target audience and analyzes their effectiveness. Develops and maintains website graphic designs and layout to support the organization's image, identity and brands. May be responsible for social media marketing and online community management.

Whirlpool Corp is searching for a passionate SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Sr.manager to join our Digital Center of Expertise. Your responsibilities will include

  • The SEO Sr.Manager is responsible for supporting the local markets and BU’s, to help each region define and implement strategies regarding SEO;

  • Experience selecting and implementing SEO enterprise platforms;

  • Works with stakeholders to continually optimize the governance and decision-making processes within the SEO expertise stream;

  • Identifying, organizing, and sharing new SEO, content opportunities & emerging trends;

  • Work with varying stakeholders and Business Unit leaders, account for their roadmaps and priorities, consider the available SEO resources, and develop an SEO roadmap and strategy;

  • Define SEO KPIs and success metrics, methodologies and work with data management & reporting professionals to document, design, and maintain appropriate reporting dashboards;

  • Performing technical SEO and on-page audits, delivering comprehensive audit documentation to stakeholders. Conducting keyword research using software tools;

  • Developing SEO & Content Use Case Libraries, best practises and playbooks;

  • Competitor reviews for D2C content trends, eCommerce and SEO best practices;

  • Partner with CXT (Consumer Experience Technology) and IT to design technical solutions for selected use cases, AI prototyping or platform implementations.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or similar, or equivalent experience;

  • Minimum 8 year previous experience in a digital marketing agency or in-house function;

  • Experience with common SEO research, insights tools and SEO enterprise tools - Brightedge, Conductor, semrush certification is an advantage;

  • Experience with DAM platforms and content automation tools;

  • Intermediate understanding of HTML and related technologies/concepts (CSS, JavaScript, etc.);

  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points, define and drive the SEO strategy;

  • Excellent written and verbal communications. Fluent in English (written and spoken);

  • Experience with Google and Adobe Analytics;

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (in person / remote) in a global multi cultural team environment.
