Digital Brand Manager - Brand Marketing

We are seeking a strategic, results driven marketer with strong consumer digital experience.

Functional Overview

In this role, you will serve as the lead on digital marketing, content strategy and consumer lifecycle marketing to support the Maytag brand of Major Appliances consisting of Laundry, Cooking, Refrigeration and Dishwashers. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, creative development, and flawless execution of highly impactful marketing assets that lead our consumers through their decision and ownership journey.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and analytical skills. The right candidate can deliver high level thinking to refine and maintain focus on our long-term strategy, but is also able to create and execute highly innovative campaigns to drive growth, while managing cross-functional relationships internally and externally. The ability to influence and drive change across a broad organization, strategic planning and presentation skills to senior management are essential. This position directly reports to the Maytag Senior Brand Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Digital Communication Strategy across the Consumer Decision Journey to support Maytag brand positioning and objectives.

  • Evolve and manage the digital eco-system strategy

  • Own the website experience for shoppers/owners.

  • Lead site experience optimizations and platform integration

  • Lead and evolve CRM strategy

  • Lead and execute brand-centric connected strategy via on and off-appliance technologies (Apps, Tech Integration, etc)

  • Leverage business and digital data and analytics to drive decision-making

  • Consult on media plan and social strategy

  • Drive deep and actionable understanding of consumer insights with cross-functional partners

  • Collaborate and partner across Maytag Brand Team, Agency Teams, Media, Analytics and Digital Centers of Excellence

  • Focus of the role will be Website Optimization, Content Marketing, CRM/Lifecycle marketing, and supporting digital needs of national marketing campaigns

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of marketing/brand management experience

  • 2+ years in digital marketing - website management, SEO/SEM, CRM, digital display and/or social media

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree in marketing

  • MBA preferred

  • Knowledge of and experience with website analytics tools

  • Passion for and continued curiosity in the digital space, tools and trends

  • Firm grasp of marketing methods and processes, and a proven ability to develop briefs that deliver breakthrough results

  • Proven ability to uncover insights and develop recommendations grounded in those insights

  • Past experience working with agencies or cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate

  • Dynamic motivator/leader, relationship builder

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
