This role in summary

The Global Batch Management Senior Analyst is responsible for leading Operations, Project Design and Delivery globally reporting to the Global SAP & Core Systems CoE (Center of Excellence) and it’s expected that you contribute to driving innovation across the existing Batch Management solutions, improve the overall uptime, performance, currency, and resiliency and help build a positive work environment with strong teamwork mentality.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Facilitates cross-functional standardization of Batch Management solutions on a global scale, understanding the specifics for each region and shaping it sustainably.

  • Participate and support the adoption of global organization programs across different areas proposing roadmaps and influencing the deployment.

  • Responsible for developing technology roadmap, managing global service providers, and identifying opportunities for improvement, modernization, and development of cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 3+ years of experience with batch management consulting or architecture working with IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (IBM TWS) & HCL Workload Automation (HCL HWA) creating cost-effective Batch Management highly available architectural solutions in the cloud and on-premise

  • 3+ years of experience in coordination and implementation of Batch Management Installations, Updates, Upgrades, Migrations, Automation, and Performance Tuning

  • 3+ years of experience in maintaining and optimizing different types of schedules including SAP, Linux and add-ons integrated with the tooling

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and optimizing Batch Management installations on Linux and Windows Server operating systems and the associated databases

Preferred skills and experiences

  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior Batch Management Consultant/Architect working with a variety of different Batch Management products mandatorily including IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (IBM TWS), HCL Workload Automation (HCL HWA) and creating cost-effective Batch Management highly available architectural solutions in the cloud and on-premise

  • Practical experience with designing, implementing, or converting Batch Management products with a downtime-minimized approach

  • Developing and implementing Batch Management sustainable automation to reduce manual efforts

  • Maintaining, designing, and implementing cost-effective and cloud-native Batch Management architectures in the cloud

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across internal and external organizations

  • Innovation-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to modernize and keep Batch Management solutions current with best-in-class technology

  • Stay current with the latest technology and dynamically learn about new Batch Management solutions and modernization opportunities

  • Manage critical Change and Incident management situations

  • Seamlessly transition between Operation and Project work models

  • Communicating across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Maintaining and optimizing existing Batch Management solutions and resources utilization to reduce the overall spend

  • Designing, configuring, and optimizing Batch Management Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery solutions

  • Maintaining and optimizing Linux and Windows Server clusters best practices for on-premise and cloud solutions

  • Knowledge of Batch Management DevOps practices and tooling to optimize and safeguard the code deployment easing the review demandsRSRWH
