This role in summary:

The Marketing Science Global Lead will be responsible for developing a global strategic vision for consumer insights and analytics, as well as supporting embedment and execution of best in class tools and approaches. This includes understanding and deploying best practices, benchmarking across regions, and partnering to build global capabilities. Another key component will be partnering closely with business units to execute critical initiatives. This professional will lead and influence stakeholders across the globe. An ideal candidate has a consumer centric mindset, understands emerging research trends, is invested in enhancing capabilities of team members, and is able to seamlessly translate research into actionable insights and planning for business unit and regional brand teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consumer Insights Leadership: Be the company expert on consumer insights efforts, driving innovation in methodologies, tools, and techniques, as well as providing thought leadership on best practices and emerging trends in consumer behavior.

  • Regional Support: Be a trusted advisor to the Business Units helping regional teams to identify and execute top priority initiatives.

  • Data Analysis: Conduct advanced analytics, develop predictive models, and identify actionable insights from consumer data to improve targeting, messaging, and product offerings, collaborating with external agencies and data vendors, as needed

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with regional and business unit cross functional teams to integrate data and research into business strategies and initiatives.

  • Team and Project Management: Lead and mentor project teams on consumer insights, market research, and data analysis to develop capabilities while fostering a culture of curiosity, empathy, and consumer-centric thinking.

Minimum requirements:

  • ​​​​​Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business Administration, Decision Science, Economics, Marketing Research, Behavioral Psychology, Social Sciences, or related).

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, consumer science, data science, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

  • Proven track record of leveraging consumer insights to drive business results and inform marketing strategies.

  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Fluent in English.

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.).

  • Experience working in a global or multi-segment organization is preferred, with ability to handle complex global projects with multiple stakeholders through to implementation.

  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to move quickly and effectively on high impact initiatives.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, creating commitment and a drive for success among teams and peers.

  • Certifications or training in consumer insights, market research, or data analytics.

  • Knowledge of marketing technologies and tools for consumer insights (e.g., customer analytics platforms, social listening tools).
