The Engineering Logistics Department plays a pivotal role in optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods and materials across our network. We focus on leveraging advanced engineering solutions to enhance productivity and streamline logistics processes in alignment with Industry 4.0 principles.

Resumo desta função

As the Analyst, Engineering Logistics, you'll spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions tailored to logistics and supply chain challenges. This includes deploying automation technologies, optimizing warehouse management systems, integrating smart logistics solutions, and applying World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles on the pillar LCS . Your role will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement within our logistics network.

Suas responsabilidades incluirão

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of engineering solutions in logistics, including automation technologies, warehouse management systems, and smart logistics solutions and adherence to WCM.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute efficient project plans that enhance logistics operations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee the integration of engineering solutions into logistics processes.

• Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to optimize logistics efficiency and effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in logistics engineering to propose innovative solutions.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols in all logistics engineering projects.

• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to achieve logistics objectives effectively.

• Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on project progress to stakeholders and senior management.

Requisitos mínimos

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field;

• +5 years of experience in logistics engineering, with a focus on warehouse management systems, and smart logistics solutions;

• Familiarity with WCM on LCS methodologies;

• Strong technical expertise in logistics engineering, including practical knowledge of automation systems and logistics software.

Habilidades e experiências desejáveis

Desirable background and experiences that would be advantageous ("plus") for the candidate include:

• Advanced Education: Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;

• Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English;

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics engineering;

• Systems/Technical Knowledge: Expertise in logistics automation systems, warehouse management software (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle WMS), and familiarity with smart logistics technologies;

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in logistics or supply chain operations within industries such as retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
