The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing role for our Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team at its Pune, India location. The Analyst will be responsible to support and execute the company’s strategic objectives and goals to embed Sustainability, Responsible Sourcing and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations across the supply chain. The Analyst will lead analytics and provide campaign / process support globally as related to all pillars of our Responsible Sourcing Program. In addition, the Analyst will provide analytics support to the Center of Excellence team. The role requires a strong understanding of current challenges in the supply chain for responsible sourcing practices of sustainable production, green materials, emissions, as well as development and engagement of a diverse and ethical supply base. Additionally, the role requires a keen ability to work in a global corporate environment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. Reporting to our Responsible Sourcing Lead in GSS, this team member will have a highly visible role which requires a close working relationship with partners of key cross-functional areas: Corporate Sustainability, Materials, Inclusion & Diversity, Corporate Legal and our Global Sourcing teams. The role will significantly contribute to our commitment to ethical and environmentally responsible supply chain management.

Your responsibilities will include

Lead analytics and dashboard creation or maintenance for the Responsible Sourcing team

- Provide support for global Responsible Sourcing campaigns in each pillar

- Develop data management processes and routines for Supplier Diversity pillar

- Develop an updated Supplier Code of Conduct dashboard and reporting

- Develop GSS Internal Audit reporting and dashboard

- Provide ad hoc data analytics support to the Center of Excellence team

- Coordinate Whirlpool Sustainability Report Response and Data Management

- Coordinate External Survey Response and Data Management

- Develop KPI dashboards for the Responsible Sourcing team, including Environmental, Social, and Governance pillars.

- Gather, analyze, and integrate information from internal and external stakeholders (including structured sustainability disclosures, supplier survey responses, and unstructured data).

- Provide timely and accurate commentary and statistics related to Whirlpool’s sustainable sourcing strategy in fulfillment of Whirlpool’s various external disclosure and reporting requirements.

Minimum requirements

- Bachelor's degree

- 4 years’ experience in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or Business

- English fluency

Preferred skills and experiences

- Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business

- Deep subject matter expertise in the field of responsible sourcing in the supply chain

- Understanding of supplier compliance and supplier sustainability program’s implementation, adherence, management and improvement

- Experience driving initiatives from strategy to execution and delivering results while managing multiple tasks

- Strong project management and organizational skills

- Ability to lead and participate on cross-functional teams, including managing executive relationships with suppliers and partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation

- Strong data analytics skills and proficiency working with tools and systems

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

**Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of 4 days on-site (Monday-Thursday) and 1 day (Friday) remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in-person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely.
