This role in summary

Position provides functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment. Responsible for work on substation, wiring circuits, distribution centers, control panels, electronic devices, etc

Positions available on;

  • 3rd shift (8 hours)​​​​​​

  • 10-hour rotating shift with 8 days on, 6 days off. This may require presence at facility during night shifts, weekends and holidays

Your responsibilities will include

  • Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision, using a broad knowledge of applied trade practices and technique.

  • The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 40 feet is required.

  • Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes, install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation.

  • Maintain substation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles.

  • Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumaticschematic drawings and code book.

  • Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.

Minimum requirements

  • State of Wisconsin Indentured Electrical Apprenticeship and an additional four (4) years of electrical journeyman experience.

  • Candidate with electrical experience without a WI license must acquire a license within six (6) months of the firstdate of employment.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • State of Wisconsin (WI) Electrical Industrial Journeyman License is required; or a State of Wisconsin Indentured Electrical Apprenticeship and an additional four (4) years of electrical journeyman experience.

  • All licensed electricians from another state without a WI license must show proof there is reciprocity in the state they are licensed in and WI. Candidate with electrical experience without a WI license must acquire a license within six (6) months of the of the first date of employment
