This role in summary

The Weekend Maintenance Support Leader is responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and other weekend job plans. Able to modify job plans when need arises. Lead and support maintenance team in safe work behaviors, recognize and mitigate hazardous conditions. Respond to and communicate any safety issues to the appropriate Operations and Health, Safety & Security Teams. This position executes the scheduled preventive maintenance activities, provides diagnostic support/problem solving, assists in contractor management and audits/supports safe working practices in an industrial environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Your responsibilities will include

The primary responsibility of the Weekend Maintenance Leader is to provide maintenance leadership and support for the execution of the maintenance weekend plan to achieve safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives.

Special emphasis on job safety auditing, safe working behaviors. Position will help drive the Tulsa Operations and Maintenance safety plan to achieve 0 incidents. Provide training to crafts, apprentices and technicians along with evaluation of training effectiveness.

Provide technical support to multiple shift operations including communications to contractors and vendors.

Work with operations engineering and maintenance planning to drive continuous improvement in system performance.

Work with the maintenance planning team to establish and maintain preventive maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

Uses safe work practices and follows all safety requirements.

Audits, mentors and leads team on safe work behaviors & conditions

Executes the weekend maintenance plan and makes modifications based on business needs

Write and follow up on work orders, repairs, contractor issues, inspections and preventative maintenance tasks

Provide consistent and accurate information on equipment/facility issues to operations team

Work closely with electrical/mechanical support techs, lube techs, general technicians, engineers and leadership.

Order parts and other service requirements

Performs safety and compliance education and tracking. Leads and assists in incident investigations and creating of standard repair procedures

Qualifications:

5 years experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Experience troubleshooting high (480) & low (24) voltage electrical circuits.

Understanding of PLCs and ladder diagrams.

Electrical knowledge (VFD’s, power supplies, relays, contacts, etc.)

Mechanical knowledge (shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, etc.)

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Ability to read electrical and/or hydraulic prints.

Diagnostic ability to separate mechanical and electrical issues.

Must be able to work in a team environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to stoop, kneel, squat and stand for long periods of time.

Experience with metal forming presses, welding/fabrication, and/or robotics would be a plus.

Requirments

Problem solving skills are critical.

Knowledge of computers is a requirement.

Reading and writing skills are essential to write reports and interpret graphs, prints and drawings.

Will be required to attend and achieve certification in LOTO, Elevated Work, Confined Spaces, Rigging & Lifting, other safety requirements.
